Annual Report 2016 published

The John Nurminen Foundation’s Annual Report for 2016 has been published, and it is available online. The Annual Report includes a report on operations for last year, financial statements, and an up-to-date review of the Foundation’s projects and operations.

MY BALTIC SEA PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION PARTICIPANTS ILLUSTRATE THE ANNUAL REPORT

This year, the Foundation wanted to highlight the passionate relationship the Foundation’s active followers have with the Baltic Sea. This is why it was decided to use the fabulously beautiful photographs from the My Baltic Sea competition, organised by the Foundation, as illustrations in the Annual Report. The people who took the photos selected for the Annual Report have been notified in person. You can also admire the photos from the competition on the John Nurminen Foundation’s Instagram account, where they are regularly published.

BLOGS AND PICTURE COLLAGES OF PAST EVENTS ALSO INCLUDED

In addition to traditional textual sections, the Annual Report features the interesting and topical blogs by Antti Iho, Principal Research Scientist at Natural Resources Institute Finland (Luke). Moreover, the publication delves into the progress of the Foundation’s digital project, the Loki online service. Take a look at the Annual Report and see how the online service has evolved during the years! Picture collages from the most important events of 2016 are also edited into the Annual Report.
