President of the Republic of Finland Sauli Niinistö has agreed to be a patron of the John Nurminen Foundation’s Clean Baltic Sea projects.

Says Juha Nurminen, Chairman of the Board of the Foundation,
“The Sea is unaware of national borders; it is indifferent to the location of sources of discharges. When working for the Sea, we too need to seek co-operation across those national borders. To be able to do this, we need back-up from the state and the politicians. We greatly value the patronage of the President of the Republic of Finland Sauli Niinistö.
